    Sow On Purpose

What you sow you will reap. If this is a clear principle in God’s Word then we should be more intentional in sowing. If you desire your life to have a particular harvest, you must sow the necessary seed. I Pray this will help you!

    Excuses.. Excuses

God wants to use you so stop making excuses. Don’t allow the cares of life, the pursuit of money, or relationships keep you from being who God has called you to be. He will equip you for this race and He will never leave you along the way.

Importance Of Accountability In Social Media

    • John 2:33 am on November 20, 2010 Permalink | Reply

      Robbie,
I really enjoyed this post. I thought your insights were very balanced, biblical, heartfelt, and objective. It is very sobering to hear all of those social media statistics. I believe reinforcing and deepening marital intimacy needs to be at the forefront of our thoughts and decision making. Like you pointed out, when you take a step back and think of this life & all that really matters in it, nothing is more important than our relationship with our spouse. The oneness that covenant marriage provides is a beautiful thing that’s truly a gift worth the ultimate investment. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.

    Why I Left Facebook

So, I’m not on Facebook anymore and I’m loving it! I do miss the ability to connect with people I haven’t seen in a long time. However, you can still follow me on twitter and I’ll follow you back so we can communicate that way. I actually think Facebook is cool. I left because ……………….. I don’t know??!! I know that’s a crazy answer, but I just don’t know. I know a few little things I didn’t like about it, but none of them where reason enough to leave. I do know I’m much happier without it. Maybe, being out of the loop or not knowing everything that’s going on in everybody’s life is a good thing. I feel more freedom when I preach. I feel less awkward around people in church. I don’t have to wonder if your status is directed at me and you don’t have to wonder if mine is directed at you. I’m getting less compliment sandwich emails. You know when you say “hey you’re great, but you stink, but you’re great.”

I hear you saying it now… I just ignore all the drama of Facebook. I said it too, but the truth is.. it affected me sometimes. I might be back… I might not. I just know Facebook is not bad it’s just not me right now.

    Love y’all

Ever wonder why people love FB so much? Do we crave gossip more than we think we do? I’m seriously thinking about getting off, too. It’s lost it’s glamor for me. That’s pretty cool that you feel more freedom preaching, too, due to “disconnecting.”

    Thank You!

Just wanted to take a minute and say thank you to everyone who has prayed for our family and been there for us during this time. Loretta Pritchard was an incredible woman of God. We were absolutely blessed to know her! Please continue to pray for the family. My grandfather, Nathan, loved/loves her so much. He needs us now more than ever. God Bless Ya’ll…

SOLUTIONS: So much preaching today is focused on “the problem” .. but the church was not put on the planet to recognize the problems of our society only. We are a force of solutions that can not be stopped. I spent four weeks teaching our church how to be a people of solutions. Hope you get a chance to check these out. Love ya…
