Start Something

Matthew 11:1-15
vs 11 Why was John the greatest? Moses delivered millions of people, Elijah and Elisha performed miracles, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel? John preached for three and a half years… no miracles, no great victories. Why would Jesus say among those born of women, none are greater than John the Baptist. John’s greatness was a result of the time he lived in. John was the first prophet to say both He’s coming and He’s here. Jesus is the only person who can claim He is both here and coming. Why is it so important to understand that the Kingdom of Heaven is both here and coming? If you live your life with the mindset that… revival is coming, miracles are coming, salvation is coming, then you will continue to miss out on the possibility of the day you live in. How long are we going to tell the next generation… “you are the Joshua generation”. When my dad was young they were the Joshua generation, I was the Joshua generation and now guys my age are telling teenagers they are the Joshua generation. What if we decided to stop waiting on a move of God and just started one. We have the keys to the Kingdom, why do we keep asking Him for what we already have?

Debate | Knee Surgery

March 16, 2009 pastorrobbie Leave a comment

A few weeks ago I tore the acl in my left knee and I am having a hard time deciding when to have surgery. I am scheduled to have the surgery next week, but I really don’t have any pain or lack of mobility in the leg. I’m thinking about waiting until September, so that I can rehab in the winter instead of missing a whole summer of golf and vacation. If you have any thoughts, post a comment… Last week I got to watch Tiger Woods play golf in Miami, Florida and it was awesome. I went with Dustin, Ricky, and Stephan… they were so much fun. Love you guys and thanks for going. This week I am going to Pennsylvania to seem some great friends and enjoy the presence of the Lord. I’ll let you know how it goes. Pray for our church, we are in a real move of God and we want to handle it the right way… God Bless you guys!
