They Missed His Face

…Then they all wept freely,and fell on Paul’s neck and kissed him sorrowing most of all for the words which he spoke, that they would see his face no more. And they accompanied him to the ship. Acts 20:37-38

What is the world! This is, for me, the greatest example of the response God’s people should have for a true Leader. The only way these people could have loved Paul this much, is if Paul loved God’s people like God loves them. Too many leaders are concerned with making sure the people respect and listen they forget that loving God’s people will give you a voice among God’s people. What makes this so cool is the people were not going to miss his preaching, prophesying, leadership skills, or anointing…they were going to miss his face. God help us to be this kind of leader…
