BE REBORN
In John chapter three Jesus is having an interesting conversation. A man named Nicodemous is asking Jesus to explain what he meant by saying you must be born again. How are you born again? Is it possible to be birthed by you mother all over again? In John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Jesus was trying to explain to this religious leader that you and the rest of the Pharisees are missing the point of me being here. I’m not trying to convert you to an ideology or a new way of thinking. I’ve come to make way for you to be reborn. I’m here so that you don’t have to live under the burden of trying to make yourself right. So many Christians struggle with sin because they are trying to make an exterior change without and interior change of natures. If a building has structural problems no amount of landscaping will make the building stronger. You will always struggle with continual sin until you exchange natures through faith in Jesus Christ.
