Yesterday was Aaliyah’s birthday. Aaliyah was the beginning of something brand new in my life. When she was born it was really special because we didn’t know what the baby was going to be, BOY or GIRL. Come to find out it was an alien! Just kidding…ok no I’m not! She is the most unique little girl and I love it. All of the kids are very different, but Aaliyah brought to our lives the part that was missing, the part that only she could fill. I love her with all my heart and I pray that I can be the daddy she deserves. Watch the video it will explain everything…

The Sunday School teacher on Easter Sunday told Gary that Aaliyah was concerned about Lauren, that she wasn’t growing… because she’s not as tall as Aaliyah.
I am very thankful that they’ll grow up together, hold each other accountable to stay true and pure, depend on each other. You know?

I can totally relate to Aaliyah’s “unique” personality. Out of 6 kids, my Marley is very similar to Aaliyah. They are in the same class together at church. I hear some interesting stories of the 2 of them… I am just glad to see that there is a little girl that Marley can totally relate to.
