    Chloe Made Me A Daddy

my-little-baby.jpgEight years ago today, Chloe Odessa-Renee Hilton was born. Monica and I were living over the garage at my parents house. We had to move in with them because we got evicted from our apartment | our dryer was posessed by a legion of demons. Until that day I had never known what it meant to love someone the way God loves us. For Monica and I the love had developed over a period of time and grown into a God kind of love. I did not know it was possible to meet someone and in that moment know that you would give your life for that person no matter what. She hadn’t said a word to me…she hadn’t hugged me or said daddy, but she was a part of me like no one else was a part of me…Chloe made me a daddy! I haven’t and never will be the same. I love you Chloe and I am thankful for every moment I have with you!

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY :)

    Tough One

question.jpgMan I just got asked a tough question! I hated my answer, but I know it was the right thing for my family…Sometimes the right thing to say is NO…I couldn’t tell you how many times I have said yes to stuff, just because it was the compassionate thing to say…Sometimes when you say no…you feel less Christlike…but it will save you from serious grief…The grief you get when you put pressure on yourself to be there for everybody…everytime. You can’t do it and keep your sanity! Learn that saying NO to good things is often saying YES to the right thing.

    This Weekend

Today was a cool day…Chloe and Judah had their last basketball games this morning and they both played great! We grabbed a pizza from Johnny Brusco’s…came home, watched Kentucky beat Arkansas and Tiger beat Stenson…Tonight, we went over to my brother’s house for his wife’s birthday and we had some serious Mexican!!! MY FAVorite :) Now I’m home and we are getting ready to watch #2 Tennessee play #1 Memphis…Holy Cow! Miracle Saturdays are awesome…

Honestly, coolest thing about this day was being surrounded by people that I love…Life is crazy and busy…so take every chance you get to spend it with the people you love…Just talking with my dad today about miracles was so amazing…He’s a great dad and my mom is too sweet!

    God Bless Ya!

Isn’t it just like God to give us people we love to be around and have relationships with. I think its a reminder just like you said, AND to remember the relationship we have with Him. Good Stuff!

    McDonald’s

An estimated one of every eight Americans has worked at McDonald’s. McDonald’s annually trains more new workers than the U.S. Army. McDonald’s is the largest purchaser of beef and potatoes, second largest purchaser of poultry. A new breed of chicken was developed to facilitate the production of McNuggets. The McDonald’s Corporation is the largest owner of retail property in the world. Most of the earnings are not from selling food but from collecting rent.

I love this song too! It’s just taken a backseat to the Jonathan Stockstill stuff I’ve had looping on my comp for days. (0= I wonder if we could do Healer at church sometime… that would be great!

    Generation Church

WOW!!! Last night we had an amazing service…God is so faithful. We talked about how our God is a Mighty God…all powerful, all knowing, always present…and that same God has a burning desire to be our closest friend. Many people relate to God as being at a distance…When in reality He is close!

Deuteronomy 30:14 This commandment that I’m commanding you today isn’t too much for you, it’s not out of your reach. It’s not on a high mountain—you don’t have to get mountaineers to climb the peak and bring it down to your level and explain it before you can live it. And it’s not across the ocean—you don’t have to send sailors out to get it, bring it back, and then explain it before you can live it. No. The word is right here and now—as near as the tongue in your mouth, as near as the heart in your chest. Just do it!
